Koashi Dhoaraage, Hithadhoo houses the private collection of Ibrahim Firaq. His collection includes newspaper clips, artifacts, historical materials, stamps and many more. It’s a private museum of national treasure, telling the history of the Addu city and maldives.
What started when he was 28 years old with items inside his house has now grown to be huge. His interest comes from his grandfather, who used to store ancient products at home.
Ibrahim Firaq reveals that the collection is estimated to be worth MVR 3.8 million. There is a huge variety of products that reflects Maldivian tradition and history.
Although many government officials often visit the place, the Koashi Dhoaraage is not yet opened to the public.
