The Ritz-Carlton Maldives Recognized as #2 Resort in Indian Ocean

The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands, has been named the #2 Resort in the Indian Ocean in the 2024 Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards. This recognition comes from over 575,000 responses submitted by readers across the United States, rating their travel experiences.

Located in the North Malé Atoll, the resort was designed by Kerry Hill Architects, featuring an iconic spherical shape that complements the surrounding turquoise lagoon and ocean breezes. The luxury villas are set along pristine white-sand beaches, each offering water views, infinity pools, spacious sundecks, and dedicated butler service.

Guests can explore a vibrant culinary scene across seven restaurants and bars, located on the Culinary Island, Grand Sunset Beach, and Fari Marina Village. Unique recreational activities are available through a collaboration with Jean-Michel Cousteau's Ambassadors of the Environment program, while the Ritz-Carlton Spa offers exclusive Bamford organic treatments.
