At the Sunny Side of Life, every moment feels special. Every night is a peaceful one you’ll never forget and every morning is a blissful one that you’ll forever crave. You can say that Maldives is the second name for celebrations! Stay at Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu and Coco Bodu Hithi and you’ll see this for yourself.
At the resorts, every Friday is an all-day celebration of Maldivian traditions and culture. Fridays are public holiday in Maldives where aromas fill the street and parks and are filled with happy faces. It is an extremely lively day, where picnics and get-togethers are very common. Turns out that you don’t have to live in an inhabited island to experience this.
Throughout the day, you'll see the resorts’ associates clad in traditional Maldivian attire from the airport to the resorts, and the sounds of Bodu Beru drumming and singing can be heard in the evening. Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu and Coco Bodu Hithi also host a beach dinner every Friday, featuring mouth-watering Maldivian delicacies and other South Asian dishes. The day is ended with an entertaining and informative presentation about Maldivian history and culture, held at the bar.
