For the past four years, Usha Rasheed has called Kihaa Maldives her second home. Newly appointed to the post of Director of Marketing & Communications, she ventures on with a new milestone achieved in her career.
Usha had extensive experience in the field of PR and Communications in her prior post at Maldives Travel Agents and Tour Operators Association as the PR & Corporate Manager. Combining those years of experience with the new learnings at Kihaa Maldives in the positions of Sales and Marketing Executive, and Media Relations Manager before the current appointment.
“It is my privilege to support the team to grow the Kihaa brand as the ‘Jewel of the Oceans’ while we are slowly leaving the difficult economic times behind us.” says Usha. She is excited to be leading the Kihaa marketing team to break new ground and reinvent the interface with guests to a more direct and personalized interaction on the newly-launched Kihaa app.
With Usha’s vision of a sharing special one-in-a-lifetime experiences with guests, Kihaa has strengthened its rebranding efforts to align with the resort’s ethos of hospitality. A brand-new website along with a complete overhaul of Kihaa’s offerings to include the Kihaa luxury collection, modernizing the social media platforms and personally keeping in touch with Kihaa’s guests of all times are some of the initiatives currenly being undertaken, to name a few.
