Set on some of the most beautiful islands in the Maldivian archipelago, Villa Hotels & Resort Collection offers an unmatched slumber for the adventurous families, romancing couples and solo travelers to experience the best of Maldives. Each resort is handpicked based on a unique factor that makes them stand out with its breathtaking features complementing the scene.
Most recently, Villa Hotels & Resorts has announced the achievement of WELL Health-Safety Rating awarded by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) for its resorts of Paradise Island, Sun Island and Royal Island. The rating was confirmed following the successful completion of third-party documentation review by GBCI to confirm it has met the feature specific intents and requirements.
In testament to the organization’s efforts to align operational policies, maintenance protocols, and emergency plans with the global attempt to create a post-COVID-19 environment now and into the future, this achievement instils confidence in guests dreaming of vacationing in the resorts. WELL Health-Safety Rating guides all necessary steps to be taken in order to prioritize the health and safety of their staff, visitors and stakeholders to the resorts.
Appreciating earning this evidence-based, third-party verified rating, Ibrahim Siyad Qasim, Managing Director of Villa Resorts said, ‘Achieving the WELL Health-Safety Rating demonstrates Villa Resorts commitment to the health and wellbeing of its people – keeping both guests and team members safe and healthy, while providing splendid guest experiences.’
Congratulating on the success of the group’s meticulous efforts, Rachel Hodgdon, President & CEO of the International WELL Building Institute commented, ‘None of this would be possible without organizations like Villa Hotels and Resorts, that have demonstrated commitment to people’s health and safety by achieving the WELL Health- Safety Rating for Facility Operations and Management of Villa Resorts, Maldives.’
