Visit Maldives’ E-Learning Campaign for the Italian Market

This July, Visit Maldives will launch an E-learning program with Turismo and Attualità, aimed at the Italian tourist trade. From July 2, 2021 onwards, the program will run for a year.

The Turismo & Attualità platform is the most commonly utilized e-learning platform on the market, with a database of over 30,000 travel agents. The portal will be utilized to educate the Italian travel industry on many elements of Maldivian tourism, including romantic getaways, underwater activities, sustainable tourism, and family vacations. This will be covered over the course of ten sessions.

Italian travel trade professionals can log in to the platform, and attend each session. For the course of the program, the location will be advertised on Turismo & Attualità's social media sites, monthly newsletters, and online pages.

Visit Maldives will be providing complimentary gift packs to the first 10 participants who complete all 10 sessions and a certificate of completion will be issued by Turismo & Attualità for all travel agents who complete the programme.

This campaign is in keeping with Visit Maldives' objective to build the destination brand online and market hospitality items through specialized channels. It also helps to raise awareness of diverse tourist segments, such as diving, family vacations, and sustainable tourism, among the Italian travel trade.
