The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC/Visit Maldives), in collaboration with the Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO) and the National Hotels and Guesthouses Association of Maldives (NHGAM), is set to launch the "Welcome India" roadshow series in three major Indian cities. The event aims to bolster the Maldives’ status as a premier holiday destination for Indian travelers.
Starting on July 30, 2024, in New Delhi, the roadshow will continue on August 1 in Mumbai and conclude on August 3 in Bangalore. This series of high-profile events will bring together key industry stakeholders from both countries, fostering new partnerships and reinforcing existing ones.
The Maldives will be represented by a distinguished delegation, including Mr. Ibrahim Faisal, Minister of Tourism, and Mr. Mohamed Khaleel, Advisor to the President on Tourism Development. The roadshow will highlight the Maldives’ pristine beaches, luxurious resorts, charming guesthouses, and rich cultural heritage.
