From December 7th to 10th, in Manchester Grand Hyatt, San Diego, CA, The United States Tour Operators Association held their Annual Conference & Marketplace, bringing together tour operators and industry professionals from around the globe. This year, Visit Maldives promoted Maldives to the professionals by their PR agency representatives.
In the conference, Maldives was promoted as the tropical safe haven that it is, with the unique naturally social distant feature of the geographical map of the country. The private islands give the guests the most safety with 100% vaccinated resort crew, making it easier to leave behind all the stress of daily life while vacationing in the Maldives.
Furthermore, the event served as a platform for promoting the Maldives' many tourism categories, including luxury and budget travel alternatives for those looking for honeymoons, romantic getaways, family vacations, or even visits incorporating MICE events.
The conference also provided a unique, business-casual environment, for a limited group of 700 travel professionals, as well as networking chances during the conference, meeting new people and conducting business. It allowed Visit Maldives representatives to interact and network with market players in order to provide tourists with the most up-to-date information about the location.
