Visit Maldives Set To Market The Romantic Side of Maldives To South Korea

Monday 30th of May 2022

Through a joint campaign with two South Korean travel agencies, Palm Tour and Honeymoon Resort, the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC/Visit Maldives) is promoting "Visit Maldives... the Romantic Side of Life." The Maldives will be promoted as one of the safest and most alluring honeymoon and romantic destinations for three months as part of this campaign, which will include both online and offline activities.

Palm Tour, headquartered in Seoul, is one of South Korea's top honeymoon agencies, with over 15 locations across the country. The award-winning agency provides a diverse selection of Maldives products, including a variety of flight and resort options. In 2019, Palm Tour sold 11,000 Maldives room nights.

Honeymoon Resort is also one of Korea's largest honeymoon travel agencies, having sent over 400,000 honeymooners over the past 20 years. They have more than ten years of experience with various Maldives honeymoon products, with a focus on resorts and their distance from domestic flights, speedboats, and seaplanes.

Palm Tours and Honeymoon Resort will develop exclusive Maldives promotion pages, place banners on their websites with destination advertisements, advertise content on both companies' websites and social media pages, and pay for ads on Naver, Google, and Youtube as part of the online components of this campaign.

The offline portion of the campaign will feature Maldivian products on display at trade shows, as well as the most up-to-date destination information, such as visa requirements and guidelines. It will also include advertisement banners in various relevant locations, lucky draws, raffle giveaways, and advertisements to attract honeymooners and newlywed couples to the destination.
