Visit Maldives x Veepee Launches Campaign Promoting Maldives in France

The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC/Visit Maldives) has partnered with Veepee on a marketing campaign to position the Maldives as a top-of-mind destination in the French market. From June 13th to June 13th, 2022, this campaign will run for ten days.

Veepee, a French company, is credited with inventing the concept of flash sales. With 24 million members in France, they are the market leader in Europe for Flash Sales. The company has grown to be a major player in the e-commerce space, working closely with over 3,000 major brands. Veepee has an affluent audience that is always looking for their next vacation spot, ensuring that the destination will get a lot of exposure through this campaign.

MMPRC will promote the Maldives' tourism products (resorts, hotels, guesthouses, and liveaboards) as well as the unique experiences available to tourists from the destination, the various segments of tourism available in the country, and the most recent travel guidelines to the French market during the joint campaign with Veepee.

The Maldives will be promoted on Veepee's homepage, which receives up to 3 million unique visitors per month, during this campaign. A dedicated website for the destination will be created and accessible from within Veepee's website, as well as a Maldives advertisement on the Veepee travel page's banner.

An emailer containing destination information will also be sent to Veepee's 9 million visitors. This campaign is part of our marketing strategy for France, which focuses on promoting the Maldives as the most popular vacation destination for all affluent segments and profiles of French travelers. The campaign will raise the destination's profile and entice a receptive audience to book their next vacation.
