TV Stylist and writer, Kat Farmer, will be helping guests at Amilla Maldives Resort and Residences look their most fabulous during her residency at the five-star resort from March 5th to 11th.
Kat, who is known for her appearances on ITV’s This Morning and ‘You Are What You Wear’ on BBC1, as well as her popular blog ‘Does My Bum Look 40 In This?’, will be on hand to offer advice and tips just ahead of the launch of her book, Get Changed. She is celebrated for encouraging women to dress for themselves and inspires them to get creative by utilizing both their old and new clothing and accessories.
During her time at Amilla Maldives Resort, Kat will record an interview with Maldives Fashion Designer, Raidha Shafeeg, the talent behind the country’s most exciting new fashion label, Raidha’s. Raidha looks set for international success, having already conquered the Maldives and won the hearts of many visitors as well. Lavish fabrics, intricate embroidery, and digitalized prints are some of her signature looks, with creations ranging from swimwear to evening wear.
Kat will be road-testing a two-day wellness program with a friend during her stay, Amilla’s exciting new wellness package, Beauty Inside Out. She will also host a live feed on Instagram from Amilla’s wellness lab as she learns how to make kombucha as well as the resort's new Homemade@Amilla tonic and plant-based milks.
Then on March 8th, Amilla Maldives will celebrate International Women’s Day with the usual vigor. The full program of events will include a ladies’ lunch at the resort’s chic beachside Emperor Beach Club. It will feature a buffet spread with delicious dishes from Amilla Maldives’ award-winning Wellness Your Way menus, as well as Testulat champagne, sponsored by York Trading, to sip while Kat discusses her experiences with the group. Games and entertainment galore will take place during the luncheon to ensure all attendees enjoy it to the max, whilst also underpinning the International Women’s Day theme for 2022, ‘Break the Bias’.
