Gracing the Maldivian skies once again, SAUDIA has revived its partnership of flying in to the sunny side of life. Flying came to a halt when Maldives announced a border closure in March of 2020, with the first case of Covid19 being reported in the country. However, a few months later in July, the borders reopened again, without restriction, and yet situations were under constant evaluation until Thursday, when SAUDIA touched down at Velana International Airport again.
Based in Jeddah, SAUDIA will connect to the Maldives four times a week, bringing in the travel-hungry wander lusters to the pearl-sandy island resorts in the destination. The national carrier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ensures that all health and safety precautions implemented across the airline operations will bring you back home with the utmost care.
As of now, the arrival of SAUDIA makes it 30 international chartered and scheduled flights that are flying around the globe to the Maldives.
