Supported by The Artling, Arsham’s coming residency at Patina Maldives can feature never-before-seen art items on the island and host engagements

Beginning March one through March seven, 2022, New York-based creative person Daniel Arsham – has collaborated with the foremost celebrated creatives and types, together with Pharrell Williams, Kim Jones of Christian Dior, and Tiffany & Co – will be taking up an exclusive art residency at Patina Maldives’ Fari Art Atelier, supported by international art practice and online gallery The Artling. Throughout this intimate residency, guests of the island can observe first-hand Arsham’s artistic method, aboard participating with him in person in an Open Studio Session on March three, an Artspeak on March four, and a 25 seat non-public cluster Dinner on March five.

The completed artworks can stay at Patina Maldives for public exhibition and can be purchased till eight June 2022 at the Fari Art Artelier.

A creative person doesn't adapt to the traditional, abundant of Arsham’s works offer sudden spatial property, considerate to the impact of your time on human environments, scoured design and relics, and landscapes wherever nature overrides structure. Throughout the residency, Arsham can bring Patina’s conception of Perpetuality – an endless journey of our positive impact on individuals and place – to life. Arsham is going to be the second creative person in residency for this three-part series on Perpetuality that explores humanity’s impact on nature and civilization, with James Turrell being the primary.

After the residency is completed, Arsham’s artworks, galvanized by and finished at Patina Maldives, are going to be displayed in an exhibition on the island for 3 months. Patina guests can gain access to a special preview sale of the artworks whilst on the island before they're accessible to the general public on theartling.com.

With art put as the concentration of the Patina property, Arsham is in smart company with Patina Maldives’ existing assortment of artworks from international artists, together with works like Amarta - the most recent within the long-running series of ‘Skyspaces’ by far-famed U.S. creative person and cogent member of the California Light and Space movement, James Turrell and Home Deep Blue, a six-meter-wide tapestry by New York-based creative person Hiroko Takeda.
