If white sand beaches, world-class dining, incredible swimming, sailing and scuba diving aren’t enough to get you racing here, the Maldives has also been internationally recognized for its performance as a destination during the pandemic. Unlike many other countries, the Maldives was lucky to be able to keep its borders open- all thanks to the natural social distancing offered by its luxurious resorts.

The Maldives also launched the world’s first destination loyalty program, a 3-tiered loyalty program - the first of its kind. Tourists who enroll in this program will earn points based on the number of visits and duration of stay. Additional points are awarded for visits to celebrate special occasions. As CNN Travel stated, “the only thing better than visiting is visiting twice”.
