3 More Days to Go for Vilamendhoo to Lend You its Safe Haven!

Vilamendhoo Maldives is set to reopen on November 1st 2020 and as time flies during these unprecedented times, you will be glad to know that in just 3 more days, this luxury resort will be all set to welcome you back into its safe haven.

Mohamed Zahir, General Manager of Vilamendhoo Island Resort, says that him and his team are every bit excited to welcome guests back into the luxury resort. The island’s house reef thrives with abundant marine life and adds diversity and colour to the beautiful underwater garden in the ocean.

The General Manager also says that upon reopening, the Dive Center will be made available to operate dive excursions such as Whale Shark, Manta and Turtle and Snorkelling boat trips. Renewal of vow ceremonies and romantic dining will also be continued.

Vilamendhoo has a separate Travel Updates Page where any information helpful to guests travel plan will always be constantly updated. When it comes to guest’s wellbeing, in association with Crown and Champa Resorts, Vilamendhoo has introduced stringent hygiene guidelines for a safe holiday experience in its paradise.

The resort has also facilitated free PCR tests for guests staying a minimum of 7 nights, who need a certificate to present to airlines and other destinations that might require it. The General Manager of the resort also reminds guests travelling on November to submit the Traveller Health Declaration and a copy of the PCR test required for arrivals by the Maldives Immigration Authority 24 hours prior to travel.

Vilamendhoo has also arranged special offers where guests receive up to 25% off and invites guests to bring their extended family and celebrate all the festive seasons with no crowds or hassles, but just your loved ones.

Vilamendhoo looks forward to welcoming you back, and actually have something special awaiting for you! The resort is expecting turtle hatchlings in the island around 2nd or 3rd week of November, which they surely feel will appeal to guests of all ages.
