JW Marriott Maldives Kaafu Atoll Island Resort is hosting one of their best culinary events of the year in December and they would like to announce that the guest chef series will be two nights, featuring guest Chef-Owner Stefan Faeht of the two-star Michelin Restaurant Jellyfish in Hamburg. Massively famous because of his French-inspired international cuisine and his skill to combine technique and creativity, Chef Stefan will introduce two thoughtfully prepared menus on December 4 and 5, 2026.
The first evening will be the Ocean Symphony and it will be located on Wahoo Beach which will provide guests with a seven-course dinner organized under the open sky with the Indian ocean as the background. Chef Stefan is brought into the limelight in the menu with dishes including salmon and beet and leek, sword fish and chili and coriander, cod and caviar and sweet potato and Iberico and soy and cabbage. At the end of the experience, the desserts are served that are created with pineapple, coconuts, exotic fruits, milk chocolate, yogurt, and blueberry.
On December 5, the dinner is served at Veyo and is a five-course tasting menu of The Island Reverie named after freshness and balance. The dinner will consist of tuna sashimi, mango and ponzu, mackerel, melon, feta, and mint, a fine preparation of salmon, with potato and dashi, and corn-fed chicken, celery, truffle, and apple. The evening is ended with a hot dessert of banana, caramel, chocolate, and almond.
The philosophy of Chef Stefan is based on craftsmanship, the appreciation of ingredients, and global openness that have seen him rise through the ranks after his childhood in a family farm to achieving such accolades as the Michelin star and 16 Gault Millau points.
The General Manager of the resort, Srikanth Devarapalli, added that these events are an expression of the desire that JW Marriott Maldives has to provide meaningful and memorable culinary experiences through creativity and concern.
