A Record-Breaking Cargo Freighter to Maldives
National Airline Maldivian departs from Thiruvananthapuram in India with 20310 Kgs of perishables –the airline’s highest record thus far! ‘These successful freighters are a testament that our teams are focused on assuring the continuity of supply is being transported smoothly to communities.’
On 12th May, Maldivian conducted an evacuation flight from Delhi to Male via Trivandrum. Total 234 Maldivians stranded in 16 cities of India had returned home on 12th May, on 2 specially arranged flights from Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram.
The airline also made an announcement that their engineering staff are pulling out all the stops to ensure the safety and maintenance of their aircrafts during these extraordinary times.
