Alila Kothaifaru Maldives is set to elevate its culinary offerings with a special vegan culinary adventure featuring renowned chef Zineb "Zizi" Hattab. From January 22 to 28, 2024, Chef Zizi will lead the Chef's Table series at Seasalt restaurant and The Shack private sandbank, offering guests an extraordinary experience in plant-based gastronomy. The collaboration is made possible with the support of Edelweiss Air, providing direct flights from Zurich to Male, Maldives.

Chef Zizi, celebrated as one of the world's leading vegan chefs, left a career in software development to pursue her passion for gastronomy. Her restaurants, KLE restaurant and DAR restaurant in Zürich, became the first vegan establishments in Switzerland to receive a Bib Gourmand with one red and two green Michelin stars in the Michelin Guide Switzerland 2023.
