In celebration of its remarkable 30-year journey in creating exceptional experiences across hospitality, spas, residences, food, and retail, Banyan Tree Group is embracing a new corporate identity, shifting from "Banyan Tree Group" to "Banyan Group." This rebranding signifies the evolution of the company into a dynamic, multi-brand hospitality powerhouse.

Since 2019, the group has doubled its brand portfolio, introducing pioneering concepts in destinations like Banyan Tree AlUla in Saudi Arabia, Garrya in Kyoto, Folio in Osaka, Japan, Dhawa in Ho Tram, Vietnam, Homm in Huzhou, China, and Banyan Tree Dubai in the UAE. Amid strong business performance surpassing pre-pandemic levels, 2023 has marked a year of expansion and success.

Key Highlights:

Rebranding to Banyan Group: The evolution from "Banyan Tree Group" to "Banyan Group" reflects the company's transformation into a dynamic, multi-brand hospitality powerhouse. The rebranding is part of the celebration of the group's 30th anniversary.

Multi-brand Growth in 2024: Banyan Group manages 12 global brands, with 75 hotels and resorts, 60 spas and galleries, and 14 branded residences across 22 countries. In 2024, the group is set to open 19 new properties and residences in Cambodia, China, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, and Mexico.

Record-Breaking Business Performance (2023):

Hotels achieved higher RevPAR, up by 44% in 9M2023 compared to 9M2022, surpassing pre-pandemic levels by 27% on a same-store basis.

Residence sales for 9M2023 reached 90% of the full-year sales in 2022, the best year on record.

China showed remarkable performance with a +49% increase in RevPAR in 9M2023 compared to the same period last year and +18% compared to pre-Covid levels in 2019 on a same-store basis.

Sustainability Commitments: Banyan Group will align with United Nations Climate Science-based Targets in 2024, developing a comprehensive 2030 Sustainability Roadmap. The group will pioneer a circularity pilot project and launch Laguna Lakelands, a nature-integrated development in Phuket.
