In partnership with Maldives Post, the Ministry of Tourism has recently launched a stamp collection in honor of 50 years of tourism in the Maldives.
This specific collection was released by pioneers in the Maldivan Tourism Industry, George Corbin – a tour operator who brought the very first tourists to the Maldives, Health Minister Ahmed Naseem, Champa Hussain Afeef, Mohamed Umar Manik, and Ahmed Mujthaba – Maldives' first Tourism Minister.
