Anantara Kihavah, a tropical paradise in the Maldives, is set to offer guests an extraordinary culinary experience in 2025, inviting food lovers to embark on a gastronomic journey like no other. From January to May, the resort will host a series of exclusive events, blending world-class dining with breathtaking tropical vistas.

The year kicks off with Chef Mark Donald, a two-Michelin-starred chef from Scotland, who brings his fusion of Scottish influences and global culinary techniques. His innovative dishes promise a feast for the senses, sure to leave guests in awe. Alongside Chef Donald, guests will also enjoy the expertise of Kamal Malik, India’s first Master Sommelier, who will lead an exclusive wine dinner at SEA, the resort’s renowned underwater restaurant. Guests will be treated to rare vintages, including Coral-Aged Dom Pérignon, with Malik offering insights into each wine’s story.

In February, Chef Melvin Chou, a Michelin-starred Cantonese cuisine expert, will showcase his creative flair for traditional yet modern dishes. Charles Duval-Leroy, the CEO of Champagne Duval-Leroy, will also host a sustainable Champagne dinner, offering guests a taste of both luxury and responsibility.

March brings Chef Denis Lucchi, a Michelin-starred Italian maestro known for modern twists on classic Italian flavors. Chef Steve Lancaster will follow in April with his reimagined takes on traditional cuisine, blending creativity with technical precision.

The culinary journey culminates in May with Chef Christiaan Stoop, a celebrated three- and two-Michelin-starred chef. Known for his avant-garde approach, Chef Stoop will offer guests a unique dining experience that blends innovation with flawless technique.
