Bank of Maldives Gifts Sen Class to Gaafaru

Bank of Maldives funds Aboobakuru Ali Foundation’s vision to create an ultimate learning space to support the cognitive growth of children with disabilities.

One of the biggest difficulties faced by children with disabilities is the lack of facilities for their education. This was the case of the sen class developed in Gaafaru School.

Aboobakuru Ali Foundation’s (AAF) vision to establish a well-equipped sensory room at @GaafaruSchool has become a reality!

Aboobakuru Ali Foundation is community formed in the island. This was the community that issued this proposal to BML’s Community Fund.

“Children with disabilities also deserve an opportunity to learn, with the special assistance they require,” Executive Director Aishath Sana on the reason they came up with the proposal. This is a huge progress for the children and society.
