This Easter was heaps different from any other we have had in a long time. Post a year of lockdowns, guests were finally able to rejoice in the sublime resort of Fairmont Maldives Sirru Fen Fushi and the resort team made sure that this one will be one for the books!
The whole festivity was themes around turning magical moments into lasting memories at the stunning setting. Fairmont Maldives brought Easter traditions to the tropics and Andrew Steele, general manager, and Marshall Orton, resort manager, unveiled the Easter egg last 30 March 2021.
The 1.5-meter high Easter egg blended into the island’s skyline while bringing a touch of holiday to the white powdery beach of the island. The art piece is fabricated from recycled materials and surrounded by 70 sustainable hand-painted eggs made from coconuts collected around the island, each representing every Fairmont hotel worldwide.
Kids and parents alike channeled their inner trasure hunters at the Easter Suday Egg Hunt that scavengered island-wide. Families were kept busy all through out the festivities with all-day activities on the secluded slice of paradise. The amazing spread of Easter Sunday brunch offered a lavish, rich buffet, satisfying every sophisticated palate. Making things more entertaining were global performers that put up magnificent acts.
How we wish we could turn back time to an entire mood and ambiance at Fairmont Maldives Sirru Fen Fushi this Easter.
