Carnaval 2023 To Illuminate The Stage At Hard Rock Hotel Maldives With Eight-Day Extravaganza

The iconic music-themed five-star resort of Hard Rock Hotel Maldives is bringing the celebrations of Latin America to the Indian Ocean this February by staging its own version of the renowned Carnaval 2023. The dazzling eight-day extravaganza will feature on CROSSROADS Maldives, the premier multi-island destination in paradise and will pave way for an experience of a lifetime with colourful parties, parades, dances and dining experiences forming part of the scintillating lineup.
Latin America’s famed carnivals are ranked among the most energizing and vibrant events hosted in the world as various communities come together to celebrate while dressed in flamboyant costumes. Aligning with CROSSROADS Maldives’ mantra as the ultimate place where cultures connect, the Carnaval 2023 is the ideal opportunity for adventurous and fun-seeking friends and families and even couples to gather and enjoy a party like no other!
The beating of the samba drums will start on Friday, 24th February as the Carnaval 2023 kick-offs with a tropical Tie Dye Party during the day. After dark, a magnificent Masquerade Party at the Marquee will keep the spirits alive, giving visitors of all ages the first serve of the fabulous fiesta. On the following day, avid explorers can discover the rhythm of Latin America with an afternoon Samba Class by the Pool before tantalizing the tastebuds with an authentic Brazilian Dinner at The Elephant & The Butterfly. Eclectic tunes by a Brazilian DJ will allure dancers to the Pool Bar until late hours.
In the upcoming week, the festival will be illuminated further by a packed calendar of exhilarating and interactive activities that can be enjoyed by all visitors. During the day, guests can look forward to a diverse range of experiences such as dance sessions, Brazilian cocktail classes, kids’ costume parties and samba shows while the night brings adrenaline-pumping DJ parties, Latin nights, sumptuous evening buffets and karaoke sessions to appeal to the preferences of all creative audiences.
On Friday, 3rd March 2023 the main highlight of the Carnaval will take place with the anticipated Carnaval Parade. Spill into the streets of CROSSROADS Maldives while donning the most glittering display and resonate with the rhythm of Rio de Janeiro as the crowds pulsate with the lively ambience. The uplifting occasion will be complemented by the stunning beauty of the Maldives and a special Street Market hosted on the day. Guests can find a plethora of different items at the market ranging from authentic arts & crafts to sizzling street food and so much more.
To conclude the eight days of fun, Carnaval goers can sign up for one final samba class on Saturday, 4th March and toast to the end of a joyous festival at The Elephant & The Butterfly with a delicious Brazilian dinner. To bid adios to this year’s Carnaval, guests can congregate at the Pool Bar for a barefoot party and dance the night away with DJ Carol Garcia.
