Chef Joseph William Talbot lands in Raffles Maldives Meradhoo as the proud new Executive Sous Chef at the resort. Chef joins the team to lead its already extraordinary gastronomical adventures with his internally acclaimed flair.
Trained by some of the finest Michelin-starred chefs in the world, Chef Talbot is equipped with the powerful combination of knowledge and 16 years of experience. Since a very young age, he has built on his passion for gastronomy, revolutionizing every kitchen that he has stepped in.
Chef Talbot is an artist by nature, a talent that takes center stage in his presentations. He is famed in his home country of Mauritius and universally in French cuisines that he decorates with a notable tropical touch and a lavish finish.
In his new role as the lead for all three restaurants at Raffles Maldives, amely, Thari, Yuzu and The Firepit, Chef Talbot will be leading by his rule of teamwork, loyalty and ability to adopt. He believes that this is the way forward to discovering modern day gastronomical wonders and individual success, while having fun at the same time.
