Emirates to Collab with Visit Maldives to Boost Tourism

Emirates is one of the most successful airlines currently flying to the Maldives with daily frequency. Having flown in the second highest number of tourists into Maldives since the border reopening on July 2020, Emirates is an elemental contributor to Maldivian tourism.

At the ongoing Expo 2020 being held in Dubai, Emirates has signed with Ministry of Tourism, and Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation to further strengthen the relationship between the stakeholders.

As part of the Memorandum of Understanding, passengers flying between Male’ and Dubai will receive travel service benefits. Additionally, Maldives will be promoted as a safe, ideal, and preferred holiday destination across key markets in the Emirates. The boost in promotional activities is aimed to develop more traffic between the destinations.
