The CROSSROADS Maldives, Hard Rock Hotel Maldives and SAii Lagoon Maldives, which is part of Curio Collection by Hilton has welcomed a talented and energetic Cluster Marketing Communications Manager, Shumaes Rasheed, who is now part of the one and only integrated leisure destination.
Shumaes Rasheed has made many accomplishments during his career lifetime, such as Care for Business Award from Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort and Spa, College Achievement Award and Outstanding Award for Leadership from Southville Foreign University, which is where he completed his bachelors and masters from.
His experience is impeccable in the resorts industry, as he has worked in various resorts in the Maldives, giving him a very strong work portfolio. He completed 7 months of work from Jumeirah Hotels and Resorts as of recently right before joining CROSSROADS Maldives. Previously, he had worked in Brennia Kottefaru as the Director of Marketing Communications for a year.
And, before that, he had worked as a Marketing Communications Manager at Jumeirah Hotels and Resorts for 8 months. A couple of older places where he had experience from is MMPRC, Sheraton Hotels and Resorts and Think Maldives.
With this passive journey in the resort industry, he has gained a lot of skills from Market Research to Corporate Communications and Social Media handling. He also has strong knowledge in terms of brand management, public relations, event management, marketing strategies, hotel and hospitality management as well as digital and social media marketing.
