In September 2019, the rate of inflation measured by annual percentage change in national Consumer Price Index increased to 0.02% from -0.9% in previous month.
The largest contributors to the annual rate of inflation were rent (0.6 percentage points), fruits (0.2 percentage points), information and communication (-0.4 percentage points); and vegetables (-0.2 percentage points).
The monthly percentage change in the national CPI fell to -0.2% in September 2019 from 0.6% in August 2019.
The largest contributors to the monthly rate of inflation came from information and communication (-0.3 percentage points); transport (-0.1 percentage points) and food (0.2 percentage points) categories.
