Effective November 18th, Maldivian Has Changed The City Check-in Times

Maldivian, the national airline to the Maldives introduced City Check-In service at Male’ city to provide convenience and improve the travel experience of the guests flying out of Velana International Airport through Maldivian.

Male’ city counter is located at Greater Male’ Bus Terminal. Guests traveling on all Maldivian flights from Velana International Airport can check-in their luggage 04 hours prior to schedule departure of the flight, and collect their boarding pass from the City Check- In location. City Check –In will be closed 90 minutes prior to schedule time of departure of the flight. After check-in at the City Check-In location, guests can proceed straight to security check and onward to boarding their flight at Velana International Airport.

Maldivian has recently updated their city Check-in service timing to 8am to 4pm effective November 18th on wards. In an announcement made on twitter, Maldivian has apologized for the inconveniences that will be caused due to the change.
