With the conclusion of the school year and the beginning of the holiday season, Emirates airlines anticipates approximately 1.1 million passengers passing through Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport during this busy travel period, which will last until December 21st, 2021. A peak rush of about 250,000 passengers will depart from Terminal 3 this weekend alone!
Travelers are urged to arrive at the airport at-least three hours ahead of their flight's departure and also to double-check that all of the necessary paperwork for their destination travel is set, before walking to the check-in counter.
The travelers can avoid the rush by physically checking-in 24 hours before their flight departure, dropping off their luggage, and collecting their boarding passes at Terminal 3's 32 self-service bag drop devices and 16 check-in kiosks. Passengers who use the self-service kiosk must still finish their immigration paperwork at least 60 minutes before their flight.
Travelers can also use Emirates' biometric path in Terminal 3 for a contactless travel from certain check-in desks, Emirates lounges, and boarding gates to speed up the process even more!
The immigration formalities can be filled and you can even board your flights using biometric technology, which eliminates the need for document inspections and long lines.
Emirates continues to lead the industry with innovative products and services, and it recently stepped up its customer service efforts with even more generous and flexible booking policies (which have been extended until May 31st, 2022) Covid-19 medical travel insurance, and is assisting loyal customers in maintaining their miles and tier status!
