Emirates announced that all the matches of the World Cup would be broadcasted live on Sport 24 inflight and on all A380 onboard lounges as well as all Emirates airport lounges, ensuring passengers don’t miss a single moment of the action during their travels.
As of now, over 200 Emirates aircraft are equipped with live TV with numerous sports channels including Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra. On ice, the in-flight entertainment system of Emirates, passengers can catch all the heated matches of the World Cup including the exciting final which is due to take place on 18th December.
Even before boarding, Emirates passengers can watch the live match action from the airport lounges of the airline. With a relaxing and refreshing ambience, Emirates Lounges are ideal for travellers with a wide range of luxury services offered to guests for their convenience. This includes buffet dining, self-serve alcohol stations, showers, free Wi-Fi and a private business centre among other facilities.
All First Class and Business Class passengers can access the lounge on a complimentary base and the courtesy is extended to Emirates Skywards Platinum and Gold members as well. Premium Economy and Economy Class passengers can pay to access the lounge and catch the lively matches while sipping on a cold beverage and munching on snacks.
