Euro-Divers Maldives - January Updates

Tuesday 8th of February 2022

The weather in the Maldives has been tremendous and settled to the beginning of the Maldivian dry season, causing a great start to the year 2022. Calm sea and 30 meters of visibility on average. It's that time of the year again.

In the first week of January, the dive center at Kagi Maldives Spa Island was the first to enjoy a Turtle week, at Vilamendhoo a Manta week, and it was enjoyed by guests and team alike. There were snorkeling and scuba diving adventures where lots of turtles were spotted. Sightings of Manta rays have been relatively consistent in South Ari Atollmaking this worth repeating every day. There was an opportunity to learn more about the different sea turtles and manta rays we have here in the Maldives and this was very much appreciated by all who attended. A big thank you to all who made the week such a success.

As a remarkable memory of celebrating 50 years of Diving with Friends, they added a special edition T-shirt to the collection featuring the big ’50 years’ at the back. It is now available at all of the dive centers in the Maldives.

As part of the Euro-Divers 50 years of “Diving With Friends” celebrations in 2022, they are inviting photography enthusiasts to participate in the underwater Photography Competition. Between 1st of March 2022 and 31st of May 2022, guests can submit their best single picture taken at any Euro-Divers Worldwide Dive Centers.

In addition, they are honored to have been recognized as a 2021 Travellers’ Choice at Trip Advisor for the dive center at Euro-Divers Club Med Kani and Euro-Divers Vilamendhoo.
