Maldives announces its first Soft Sail Training Center.

To increase the number of tourists who visit the Maldives for the purpose of sailing, Maldives Integration Tourism Development Corporation (MITDC) started the first-ever Sailing Rally – Savaadheeththa Dhathuru, on the 5th of February.

The rally started in HA. Hoarafushi, and during the celebration, a special ceremony was held to mark the registration of a specialized Soft Sail Training Center. The center is to be operated by JLS Super Yachts, based in Dubai. They were given the rights to operation by the Minister of Higher Education, Ibrahim Hassan.
