Following a brief 45-day closure for a property rejuvenation, the award-winning five-star resort The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort announces the introduction of brand-new, exquisite experiences as it resumes operations on July 16. The Vommuli Island resort's eagerly awaited reopening welcomes visitors back to the Maldives' most prestigious address, where the pinnacle of luxury hospitality and unforgettable experiences await.

The renovation of lodging included the installation of new wood, roofs, decks, and paint finishes with the aim of improving the guest experience. The eye-catching property improvements were designed to complement and heighten the unmatched excellence of the St. Regis Maldives Vommuli's signature services, first-rate amenities, and first-rate program offerings.

“We are thrilled to welcome our valued guests back to paradise as we introduce new and opulent innovations to Vommuli Island,” Expressing his enthusiasm over the re-opening is Mr Vincent Pauchon, the General Manager at The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort. “We have taken this time to thoughtfully re-conceive our programming putting a special emphasis on fresh, unique concepts in the health & wellness, lifestyle, food & beverage and sustainability spaces.” He concluded.

Visitors can anticipate a refined and impeccable private island stay that is characteristic of The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli following the property improvements. Extensions for ALBA beach and all beach villas have been finished for added allure. Additionally, a reef breaker has been installed in the lagoon to calm the water for a variety of uses, including recreational water activities, reef rejuvenation, and guest stays in over-water villas.

In addition to the resort's property updates, the renowned Iridium Spa has unveiled an Ayurveda Monsoon Stay package that is geared toward people looking for opulent wellness offerings with top-of-the-line treatments during the monsoon season, when those benefits are greater than ever. The 7-day and 14-day packages, which made their debut on August 3rd, feature a variety of cutting-edge services for the body and mind under the direction of Ayurvedic Physician and Spa Manager, Dr. Sudhi Suresh.

A wide range of treatments and activities utilizing herbal plants from the Ayurveda garden are also included in the package, which will take visitors on a transformative journey. Individual wellness consultations, daily group yoga, aqua aerobics, TRX, Tabata, beach boot camp classes, and Ayurvedic treatments like Abhyanga, Shirodhara, and Choornaswedana are also included in the package. The Ayurveda Monsoon Stay package also includes luxurious anti-aging caviar facials and enlightening wellness workshops.

The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli will also introduce a special Art Retreat. The three-day immersion, which is hosted by Denise Schmitz, the founder of We Love Art, starts with a welcome orientation and drink and is followed by dinner at Orientale and cocktails at dusk. The itinerary includes a variety of thoughtful activities in addition to private painting sessions with Denise, such as sunrise and anti-gravity yoga, soothing treatments at Iridium Spa, opulent dining, and unforgettable experiences like a Turtle Quest and champagne sabering.

Both travelers and cocktail connoisseurs will surely enjoy the new Bar Program, which will be unveiled in August. The new program pays homage to the legacy and glitz of the original House of Astor with its mesmerizing "Violet Hour" ritual and New York-inspired cocktails. A collection of 40 cocktail recipes inspired by five New York neighborhoods are included in this extraordinary celebration of the art of drinking. These recipes combine the chic charm of Manhattan with regional flavors to produce exquisite original creations.

With the addition of a new restaurant concept called T-Pan, the five-star property is further enhancing its impressive culinary concepts in addition to this enchanting delight. The gracious art of T-Pan is infused with the artistic flair of presentations, the finest ingredients, and the pinnacle of the art of simplicity. Epicureans will enjoy the wabi sabi Japanese Zen's Celestial philosophy of appreciating beauty in imperfection, revered subtle nuance and transience of all elements, and journey of discovering the senses at this serene garden retreat with breathtaking views of the azure Indian Ocean.

T-Pan will offer Omakase menus with flavors of the best ingredients from the Maldives and around the world when it opens to the public in November. The finest selections of gins, beers, and specially curated tasting flights, all meticulously selected by the head mixologist, are available to guests along with exquisite Japanese whiskies. A must-have indulgence to be enjoyed above all else is tea from upscale Japanese tea shops and bespoke sake from the renowned Dassai Sake house.

The epitome of luxury promises unrivaled relaxation and unforgettable experiences, elevating the location's idyllic, natural setting. The resort's 77 transcendent villas, which are dispersed throughout the island and are spread across more than 22 acres, each offer a plunge pool and a private entrance for an unmatched level of seclusion and privacy.
