One of the tourism industry’s best, a passionate writer, a talented photographer, and now officially the new Marketing and Public Relations Manager at the gorgeous LUX* South Ari Atoll, Monika Adlakha is is more than committed to contributing to her new role with her best.
Monika has seen the ins and outs of the industry for over 18 years with hands-on experience across a broad spectrum of media and communication aspects. She has travelled the world and told her stories verbally and visually on multiple social platforms. She uses her education at Delhi University, a Bachelor’s Degree holder in Journalism with Honors, to her advantage and has worked alongside leading publications such as Mid-Day, Hindustan Times and Peaklife Magazine.
With an aim to introducing innovative and interactive marketing & PR initiatives at LUX* South Ari Atoll Resort and Villas, Monika is determined to plan, develop, and implement a strong strategy for the resort. In her new role, she will be reporting to Roshan Radhay, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Maldives and the GCC at LUX* Hotels and Resorts. Mr. Roshan shares his confidence in Monika’s talents, and believes that her proven track record of driving significant projects in the hospitality and sustainability space will play a pivotal role for the resort.
Many significant contributions of Monika can be seen in campaigns of Cox and Kings and Vodafone India, focused on sustainability. Her presence globally can be pinned on independent projects done with hotels and restaurants in Turkey, UAE and Indonesia, as part of world renown brands like Shangri-La, Hilton and JW Marriott.
