The resort has proudly announced the first intern to have completed the resort’s 6-month internship program. Receiving his certificate is Arushid ‘Allu’ Aboobakuru who left a promising corporate career with a government institution to pursure his career in is industry of passion. Allu completed International Hospitality Management with the Maldives National University after his grade school studies.
Allu joined Radisson Blu last December. He got the opportunity to train in all sections of the Front Office, including reception, guest service, bellman, phone operator, and boat crew. Under supportive encouragement and supervision of his colleagues, Allu prospered on his eager attitude to learn and thrived. His final presentation for the internship was based on his experience in the Front Office Department and explained his perspective of the internship to the resort management and associates.
As a reward for completing the internship, Allu received the golden opportunity to join the resort team as a permanent member of the family. Obviously, he was more joyous to take up the offer as a Guest Service Agent at the resort.
