
The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort will also take the guest experience to the next level by introducing a new series The Tastemaker Series that will be launched in the fourth quarter of 2025. This specially selected collection of culinary stars, celebrated mixers, successful wellness gurus and international tastemakers combine to make memorable events on the resort on its own island.
The first issue is launched in November with a Chef Jolly pop up through to December with sophisticated adaptations of classic Indian food and the presence of the renowned food celebrity. In November, two- Michelin starred German chef-Alexander Herrmann will showcase a creative European cuisine and then in December, French pastry chef- Gregory Doyen, the man behind sculptural desserts.
The series is supplemented by exclusive wine dinners. The sixth generation winemaker Ilaria Felluga Marco Felluga and Russiz Superiore will be directing the tasting of the best wines of Collio, and François Labet, the president of the old Château de la Tour, Burgundy will be presenting the history and the land.
The Tastemaker Series goes beyond gastronomy. Visitors will be able to participate in customised workouts with celebrity trainer, Jono Castano, Pilates classes with Tash and Andre, and holistic treatments with Tricia Tee, the only certified Seifu in Asia. The Whale Bar will also host mixology takeovers with two of the world’s highest-ranked bars: the Satan Whiskers in London and the Licoreria Limantour in Mexico.
