Tashkent, Uzbekistan, will be added to Qatar Airways' worldwide network with twice-weekly flights. The inaugural flight from Doha to Tashkent will take off on January 17th, 2022, aboard an Airbus A320 aircraft with 12 Business Class seats and 120 Economy Class seats.
Passengers flying to and from Tashkent will be able to connect to over 140 destinations via Hamad International Airport in Doha, including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, India, and the United States.
In 2022, Tashkent, Uzbekistan's capital and the heart of the ancient Silk Road, will become Qatar Airways' newest destination and the latest addition to its Asian network. It is Central Asia's largest metropolis, with panoramic views, diverse cuisine, and a plethora of things to see and do.
Speaking about the new addition, the Group Chief Executive of Qatar Airways, Akbar Al Baker stressed on the tremendous growth potentials in Central Asia. With this new service to Tashkent, it will serve to boost trade opportunities and attract tourists wanting to discover this beautiful destination. He also highlighted that the passengers from Tashkent will now have access to more than 140 destinations when travelling with the World’s Best Airline via the World’s Best Airport, Hamad International Airport.
