Bastien Soleil is a man of many talents. Having had successful careers as a designer, marketing, and communications expert in France, and as a photographer and videographer. He went on to discover freediving in Thailand back in 2015. It was love at first dive. More than sport, to Bastien, it was a way of life.

Having developed a fascination with the beauty of underwater life, Bastien invested in a proper camera and began to photograph it. As he did more and more shoots, he began to see something new. The way that light, people, and things were moving underwater fascinated him and thus became his field of artistic exploration.
