Jumeirah Olhahli Island will also host an exclusive programme, A Golden Journey Together, to celebrate Chinese Golden Week, 1 to 8 October 2025. The week will be built as a way to connect families and friends and to incorporate creativity, wellbeing and discovery into the rhythm of the island life.
Food is the centre stage with an Asian and tropics inspired experience. The guests will have an opportunity to spend their time in the Asian-Inspired Gala Dinner at the Glow, in the Embrace Hot Pot at Ocean, and in Shimmers with live music. Afternoons and evenings are spent on a Bliss Tea Ritual and a Maldivian Sharing Beach Dinner under the stars with the Boduberu beats. Morning starts with Asian-inspired Floating Breakfast.
At MURACA Art Studio, creativity is in conflict with cultural traditions. Visitors can paint tea-cups, decorate Lucky Red pottery or hand-decorate Tuanshan fans. Kayto Family Dim Sum Masterclass provides the parents and children a hands-on cooking experience, and nights are illuminated with Lantern Ceremony at Shimmers Beach.
The programme is completed by wellbeing and adventure. The outdoor nature is reflected in face yoga, Pilates by the sea and self-care workshops, tennis socials, snorkelling, semi-submarine tours, dolphin hunt and fishing at sunset.
The Mid-Autumn Festival will also be celebrated on 6 October with Sunset Soirée Gathering, a Lunar Wellness Ritual and the International Market Night at Glow.
Jumeirah Olhahali Island with 67 villas, each having its own pool to swim in, rooftop terrace, and ocean views, and spacious multi-bedroom apartments is an ideal place to spend the time together during the Golden Week.
