Hard Rock Hotel Maldives Supports Local Autism Efforts

Wednesday 6th of August 2025

Hard Rock Hotel Maldives has announced that the Maldives Autism Association has received a $5,000 grant from the 2025 Hard Rock Heals Foundation. The grant is part of a global initiative supporting organisations that create positive change in their communities.

Nominated by the local team at Hard Rock Hotel Maldives, the Maldives Autism Association was selected from numerous nominees worldwide. The association focuses on building a strong support system involving parents, educators, and community leaders while offering tailored interventions for children on the autism spectrum.

Resort Manager Mohamed Adil shared that the nomination was driven by the association’s direct impact on the local community. “We are honoured to support their efforts and proud to stand with organisations that reflect our core values,” he said.

The grant will help the association continue developing its curriculum, which blends practical academics, life skills, creative activities, and emotional support. Its programmes are designed to boost independence, self-confidence, and social inclusion for children with autism.

The Maldives Autism Association is one of 50 organisations worldwide to receive funding this year, with the Hard Rock Heals Foundation distributing a total of $250,000 to local causes around the globe.
