Hospitality Expert Martin Van Der Reijden Appointed as General Manager at Cora Cora Maldives

Cora Cora Maldives set to open in October 2021 at the beautiful Maamigili Island. The resort turned to the expertise of Dutch-born hotelier Martin Van Der Reijden as the General Manager to oversee the pre-opening operations of the resort.

Martin has decades of experience working with major brands in the Maldives such as Crossroads, Lux* North Male Atoll, Per Aquum resorts and 16 years with Hilton International. His solid expertise reflects decades of work in planning and construction to teambuilding, finance, and IT infrastructure with a passion for the destination and supporting local talents in various pre-opening experiences.

Moreover, as the former Managing Director of Miaja Design, a hotel interior design company, his keen eye on the strong design aesthetic reflects the setting and culture of the resort.
