JA Resorts & Hotels has announced the appointment of Jason Kruse as the General Manager of JA Manafaru in the Maldives, located in the pristine Haa Alifu Atoll in the north of the country. Jason brings extensive experience to his role, having worked in the international hospitality and tourism sector for more than 20 years.
Throughout his stellar career, he has served various appointments including senior leadership positions across a portfolio of properties in his home country, Australia. Prior to taking over as General Manager of JA Manafaru, Jason was the General Manager of Amilla Maldives Resort and Residences, where he contributed immensely to elevating the resort’s guests experience for three and a half years.
Adding to his Maldivian experience, Jason was also part of the team of the Universal-branded resort, Kurumba Maldives for six years. His work abroad includes being an integral member of the preopening team of the sustainability centric Six Senses in Fiji and serving as General Manager at Casa Del Mar in Langkawi, Malaysia and The Breezes Resort in Bali, Indonesia.
