Yesterday, Jalboot Marine Services Pvt Ltd inaugurated the internship program at a ceremony held in Maldives Polytechnic. During the ceremony, 15 young Maldivians were presented with the certificate of selection. Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Ibrahim Hassan attended as the chief guest and parents and staff of Jalboot also took part in the inauguration ceremony.
While speaking at the ceremony, Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Ibrahim Hassan highlighted the importance of private sector in increasing the human resources of the nation. In this regard, the Minister acknowledged Jalboot Marine services on taking the time to train young people in the field of marine operations. He further encouraged all participants to give their full dedication and complete the training.
The internship program provides interns the opportunity to explore all fields of operation undertaken by Jalboot. Spanning a duration of 6 months, the internship program will focus on giving training in areas such as Water Sports, Diving, Excursion, Marina Operation, Water Transport and business branches including Admin, Finance and Marketing. A stipend will be provided to participants during the program.
Upon completion of the program, reference letters and certificates will be awarded to all interns and potential candidates might even be offered to join the team at Jalboot Marine Services.
