The world’s biggest international airline, Emirates Airlines announced that they have carried over 10 million passengers to various destinations across the world this summer. With over 35,000 flights flown to 130 destinations across the globe, the airline has been a part of many people’s travels.
By forecasting an increased demand for travels, Emirates were able to conduct seamless travel experiences by close collaborations with its airport partners. This includes ensuring flights took off as scheduled and minimizing travel disruptions to pave way for uninterrupted vacations and trips to visit family and friends.
This summer, the airline also took their operations up a notch by facilitating more flights to 33 cities on famous routes across Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Moreover, they even revamped up operations to popular holiday destinations such as the sunny islands of Seychelles and Maldives as well as Mexico and Miami.
The Emirates A380, the largest commercial class aircraft in the world was also in full demand with flights to 30 plus destinations in the Emirates network. Another destination that joined the global network was Tel Aviv in June, broadening travel reach throughout the world.
Emirates even re-commenced the operations of 32 of its signature lounges, with 25 lounges located at prominent airports in its network. This allowed frequent flyers and premium member passengers to unwind and relax between flights in a pleasant ambience. Furthermore, with the resume of their trademark Chauffeur Drive airport transfers, First Class and Business Class can now have a smooth travel experience on arrival as well.
At Dubai International (DXB) deemed as the world’s busiest international airport, Emirates’ 24/7 hub ensured coherent arrival, depart and transit procedures were completed for all passengers flying aboard the airline. In addition to this, with the airline’s continued investment in digital initiatives, they were able to elevate customer experience by reducing wait-time at airports and easing travel formalities.
Emirates is currently operating at 75% of its capacity post pandemic and hopes to accommodate 80% by the end of the year. With the ease in travel restrictions, the airline is continuously rebuilding its network with a major retrofit project planned to start this November.
