JLF Soneva Fushi Brings Celebrations To Male’ City

Soneva has collaborated with Teamwork Arts, the producer of the iconic Jaipur Literature Festival, to bring JLF to Soneva Fushi for the first time. JLF Soneva Fushi will offer a truly personalized experience, with morning yoga sessions, stimulating workshops, delectable international cuisine, and breathtaking sunsets over the sea.

Events will be held at stunning locations across the island to celebrate the theme of 'Slow Life,' with topics ranging from travel, fiction, food, art, wellness, climate change, and the environment. The Festival will feature world-renowned authors, intriguing workshops, music, art, and culture.

This festival is an opportunity to rediscover the joys of live art, music, and literature performances on the idyllic island of Kunfunadhoo in the beautiful Baa Atoll. To hype up this festival, a crew from Soneva made their way to Male’ City, bringing along with them special guests.

On May 18th, the event took place at the mesmerizing Salt Cafe in Male', where speakers like Speaker of Parliament, former President, Mohamed Nasheed, world-renowned authors, Shobhaa De and Marcus du Sautoy, Mauroof Jameel, a prominent local architect and academic, illustrator and author, Zaahie Saeed and comic writer and expert, Ahmed Mauroof Jameel all participated in the exciting event.

Moreover, local musicians Igyan Rafeeu, Shamoon Mohamed, and Ahnaf Ibrahim performed at the event, creating a joyful atmosphere throughout the event! Fannuge Dharin (Talent Gathering), a local organization that provides a platform for Maldivian artists to meet, share, and inspire, curated these artists.
