JOALI Maldives opens the doors of its Levant-style restaurant, Tuh’u

Monday 26th of April 2021

One of the many ways JOALI Maldives shares the island’s ‘Joy of Living’ spirit is through the best kind of art there is – culinary arts. In this regard, the resort is pleased to announce the completion of its culinary offerings with the launch of its new Levant-style restaurant, Tuh’u – totaling up to five restaurants and one private interactive kitchen and dining room.

Located alfresco on the sand under atmospherically-lit palm trees and the night’s sky, serving Levant cuisine, Tuh’u is inspired by the the resort’s Turkish influence and Owner, Esin Gural Argat. The name derives from one of the world’s oldest Levant recipes which dates all the way back to 3000BC – which remains today, a popular beetroot-based dish in modern Western Asia.
