JW Marriott Maldives Welcomes Renowned Vintner Stéphane Vedeau

This October, JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa will transform its elegant Wine Room into the setting for “The Rhône in Residence: An Exclusive Wine Dinner with Stéphane Vedeau.” Taking place on October 13, the event offers guests a one-night opportunity to experience an immersive five-course pairing dinner guided by one of France’s most respected vintners.

Stéphane Vedeau’s journey through the world of winemaking has been defined by passion and innovation. Starting in the vineyards of Languedoc, his talent quickly earned international acclaim, with “Wine of the Year” at the International Wine Challenge on two occasions. His ventures in the Rhône Valley, La Ferme du Mont and J. Boutin, reflect his philosophy of cultivating high-altitude parcels to achieve balance and freshness. Esteemed critic Robert Parker once described him as “a seriously talented winemaker quickly emerging as a star of the Southern Rhône.”

The evening will feature a curated selection of his wines, including La Ferme du Mont Côtes-du-Rhône “Première côte,” Les Vedias Crozes-Hermitage, Gigondas Jugunda, the white Côtes-du-Rhône “La Truffière,” and Lusis Condri Viognier.
