Located in the pristine South Ari Atoll and shored by white powdery beaches, LUX* South Ari Atoll is a wellness sanctuary of its own. Coming to the property this June is the resort’s annual Wellness Week tradition, set to take place from 3rd to 10th June 2023. This year’s wellness-centric itinerary will see several inspiring events hosted on the island over the coming week, to help guests and team members take their wellness commitments to the next level.
The signature LUX* ME concept forms the heart of the events, which originates from a desire to bring wellness into everyday rituals. Whether the wellness journey unfolds as a spa, fitness, yoga, meditation, or nutrition experience or is a unique blend of all, the concept capitalizes on delivering a personalized approach to well-being with each experience tailored to the needs of guests.
For this year’s Wellness Week, LUX* South Ari Atoll is enlisting the help of two wellness champions from the UK, namely Olivia Jarvis and Mason Caton-Brown. While Olivia Jarvis is well-renowned for her delicious fitness recipes and her engaging workouts, professional rugby player and esteemed fitness trainer Mason Caton-Brown is reputed for his impressive speed, agility, and team player skills. Together, they will bring years of experience in fitness and healthy lifestyle coaching to the resort.
In line with their calling to inspire and motivate people to embrace a healthier lifestyle, Olivia and Mason will invite guests to discover their own fitness capabilities during their residency on the island. The duo will be hosting curated group activities and private training programmes throughout the week with a special celebration held on June 10th to mark Global Wellness Day. This year’s theme for the Day is #DanceMagenta.
With LUX* ME’s holistic approach to wellness, guests can transform their Maldivian vacation into a wellness retreat that includes yoga, fitness classes and meditation; healthy Keen on Green dishes; Vitamin D boost from the sun and a fun-filled time outdoors. Recognizing how limiting a one-size-fits-all mindset is, the resort also offers individual consultations and bespoke programmes for guests as well. Through these private sessions, therapists can address the individualized bodily needs of guests whether they are seeking total relaxation or healing.
