
In 2021, Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s 8th Health Ministers conference will take place in Maldives. Health Ministry made the announcement today that this decision was made during the 7th OIC health ministers’ conference held in Abu Dhabi from 15th to 17th December.
Health Minister Abdullah Ameen took part in the 7th conference. During the event, the difficulties faced by member countries regarding anti vaccine campaign were highlighted and a resolution was presented by Maldives to solve the problems. The theme of this conference being ‘Quality of life’, the purpose of it was to assess the health condition in member countries and the extent to which members implement OIC’s strategic health program of action.
